Summary

Description
English: Originally identifed as Hogna carolinensis, usually regarded as the largest wolf spider species in N. America. Its body length is generally around 25mm. (i.e., about one inch). This female was captured at 36° N 80° W. Likely to be a Tigrosa species based on the narrow yellowish median stripe on the carapace.
